The London Cocker Spaniel Society Field Section run Novice Cocker and Novice Any Variety Field Trials, 3 Gundog Working Tests for working Spaniels per year including an All-Aged Cocker Spaniel Working test. We also run Working Gundog Certificate days and Field Trial Judging Seminars.
Our membership is split at about 60% Cocker Spaniel, 35% English Springer Spaniel and 5% Other Variety Sporting Spaniels. We actively encourage all breeds of Spaniel to participate in our events, not just Cockers and Springers. Our Field events are open to all breeds of Spaniel unless specifically restricted.
We welcome new members to our Field/Working Section. As a society we particularly welcome and actively assist, Novice Handlers and dogs because we all have to start somewhere!!
We hope to gain Open Cocker Spaniel and All-Aged Field Trial Status in 2009, watch this space!!
